HOW IT WORKS

Your First Time,
Step By Step

  1. 01

Arrive between 5:30 and 6 PM and add your name to the list at the door. Earlier means an earlier slot.

  2. 02

Tell Bella what you need — a guitar, a keyboard, a microphone, or nothing at all.

  3. 03

Play a short set when your name comes up. All levels welcome, from first-timers to touring pros.

  4. 04

Stay for the rest of the night. The room is at its best once everyone has played.

“Bring your voice, your guitar, or just a glass of Syrah and a friend.”

Listeners are as welcome as players. There is no cover and no pressure to perform.

Everything You
Need To Know

What time does open mic start?

The music runs from 6 to 9 PM every Tuesday, and we recommend arriving between 5:30 and 6 PM to get on the list. Each night kicks off with a featured artist, followed by open mic sets.

How do I sign up to perform?

Add your name to the list at the door when you arrive — first come, first on the list, so earlier means an earlier slot. There is no online sign-up.

Does everyone get to play?

We recommend arriving between 5:30 and 6 PM to get on the list — it’s a popular night with lots of musicians. If time runs out before your turn (the music has to end at 9 PM because of the local noise ordinance), you’ll move to the top of the list at the start of the following Tuesday’s open mic.

How long is each set?

Sets are kept short so everyone on the list gets a turn. Bella confirms the length on the night, depending on how many people have signed up.

Do I need to bring my own instrument?

No. Bass, guitar, drums and keyboard are set up and ready to play. You are welcome to bring your own instrument if you prefer.

Is it free, and is it all ages?

It is free to attend and free to perform, and it is open to all ages.

When is the open mic at Miramonte Winery?

Every Tuesday from 6 to 9 PM at Miramonte Winery, 33410 Rancho California Rd, Temecula, CA 92591. It is free to attend and free to perform, sign-ups are at the door, and bass, guitar, drums and keyboard are provided. All ages are welcome.

Where can I see Bella Popa perform live in Temecula?

She performs regularly at Miramonte Winery, Lorimar, Leoness, Altisima, Danza del Sol, Oak Mountain, Callaway and Peltzer Winery. Upcoming dates are listed on the calendar page and posted weekly on Instagram.

What kind of music does Bella Popa play?

Country soul and classic rock, with original songs alongside covers. Her sets are built around powerful vocals and warm acoustic guitar, and she adapts the repertoire to the room — quieter for ceremonies and dinner service, fuller for evening and full-band shows.

ON STAGE & IN GOOD COMPANY

“Her sound is impeccable, and she brings such a fresh, unique spin to popular songs.”
